March 9, 2011—Each magazine theme in the Ready-Media collection is available in both print and now for the iPad, said Roger Black at the WoodWing World Tour event in San Francisco today.
These iPad templates are complements to the print templates and have been adjusted for readability and navigation on the iPad. The new libraries are compatible with any iPad publishing system, such as WoodWing’s Digital Magazines and Adobe Digital Publishing Suite.
“It has never been easier to get professionally pixel-perfect pages for print and iPad,” said Black.
Six unique themes for magazines are available now for Print and iPad. Web and Treesaver® templates for each theme will available this spring. “This allows a print publication to publish on the web or device with same design style and branding, overnight,” says Eduardo Danilo, recognized as one of the world’s best publication designers.
The themes provide a design architecture for a start up, or a redesign. Each template within a library can be easily customized or adjusted to the publication’s needs.
Template libraries include a choice of fonts curated by The Font Bureau, Inc. general manager Sam Berlow, also a partner at Ready-Media.
Ready-Media can create additional and custom templates, design logos and section headings through its Design Room, which is managed by Robb Rice.
The popular magazine themes are available at www.ready-media.com. Each is stocked with hundreds of pre-designed pages created as Adobe InDesign® files for iPad and print.
Stay tuned for more announcements this spring as Ready-Media.com adds new themes; HTML/CSS and Treesaver templates to each theme. Themes start at $1,500 for a core set and range up to $5,000 for a complete package.
